Electrical Engineering Course
From energy to the environment, we are teaching engineers
committed to the new electrical energy of the future. |
|
|
|
Electricity
has applications that span from the household use to industrial activity, and
it seems we are on the brink of the age of the electric car. The transition from
systems of generating power relying on oil, coal, and hydroelectric power to new
systems of natural energy or hydrogen that are more in harmony with the environment
leave us with high expectations. Given this background and after considering the
objective of educating tomorrow's pioneering engineers, the following three technological
fields have been defined. |
|
|
|
1) Power engineering of environmentally friendly energy sources
such as the fuel cell or other new forms of energy, electrical power development,
transmission and distribution.
2) Power electronics technology for use in electric energy applications
3) Superconductor application technologies, new materials development for electrical
power generation and electrical power supply, environmental technologies |
|
|
|
Electronics Course
From learning the basics through to the applications
of electro-technology that support the Information Technology society, students
develop their abilities to perform in all aspects of industry. |
|
|
|
All
sorts of apparatus are used in electronics technologies and in most industrial
fields the demand for engineers is growing. We have formulated three main areas
in our major in which the education of engineers answers the requirements of industry. |
|
|
|
1) Electronic devices: Semiconductor physics, lasers, plasma,
vacuum electronic devices, LSI (Large Scale Integration) (semiconductor integrated
circuit), and microcomputers
2) Computers and networks: technologies geared for personal computers, computer
architecture to the core concepts in computer software, operating systems, C programming
language, LSI planning software
3) Systems and controls: Electronic instrumentation, control engineering, robotics,
telemetric and electronic equipment controls and system design |

Information Network Engineering Course
We are training engineers who are familiar with the
two sides of hardware and software to be the propulsive force behind the new generation
of Information Technology. |
|
|
|
We
are training engineers with the proper understanding of the basic principles of
give and take (communications technology) and data processing (data processing
technology) and who have assimilated the balance between software and hardware.
With this ability they are then able to construct new information transmission
networks. |
|
|
|
1) Beyond the core subjects of Math, Basic Physics, Basic Electricity
and Electronics, as well as Basic Communications and Computing, specialized information
has been laid out relating to networking software and hardware used in communications
technology and
data processing.
2) We have taken a diversified approach to all of the fields related to information
network technology, and, in order to train skilled engineers, a wealth of practical
training and experiments in computing, networking, wireless and optical data transmission,
signal processing, and information processing have been included in the program. |
